Website hosting

This website is hosted by Netlify. When you access the website, technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, date and time, and server-log information may be processed in order to deliver the website securely and reliably.

Netlify may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, Netlify states that it relies on appropriate transfer mechanisms, including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses. Netlify’s Data Processing Agreement applies to processing performed on behalf of customers.

The legal basis for technically necessary processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on the legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation of the website.

Contact form

If you contact me using the form, the information you enter, including your name, e-mail address, country/state or province, and message, is processed for the purpose of responding to your enquiry and, where applicable, taking steps at your request before entering into a therapeutic or consultation relationship.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to potential services, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for the legitimate interest in responding to professional enquiries.

E-mail communication

E-mail communication is handled using Zoho Mail. The account is configured through Zoho’s European service environment. Zoho states that accounts registered through its EU domain are hosted in the European Union and that transmission is protected using TLS. E-mail content is processed as necessary to communicate with you and handle your enquiry.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for service-related communication and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for other professional correspondence.

Fonts

This website currently loads web fonts from Google Fonts. When a page is opened, your browser may establish a connection to Google servers in order to retrieve the font files, which can result in technical data such as your IP address being transmitted to Google. This setup should be reviewed before final production use if a fully local font solution is preferred.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently use advertising trackers, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or comparable analytics tools. No non-essential cookies are intentionally set by the website itself.

Retention

Personal data are kept only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations. Unsuccessful initial enquiries are deleted when they are no longer needed for communication, unless legal obligations or legitimate interests require longer retention.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

Security

The website is delivered using HTTPS once the TLS certificate for the custom domain is active. Despite appropriate technical and organisational measures, internet-based communication cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure.
